Add Mortgage Lending to Your Real Estate Business
RELO stands for Real Estate Loan Officer. It is the path to holding both a real estate license and a mortgage loan originator license, so you can guide a client from the first showing to the closing table.
Adding lending means you can answer financing questions as they come up, keep more of each transaction under your direction, and serve buyers who might otherwise stall at the pre-approval step.

Do Both: The RELO Path
RELO stands for Real Estate Loan Officer: one person holding both a real estate license and a mortgage loan originator license. You guide the same client from the first showing through the closing table — and through the loan.
The Stoker Team runs both sides, so you never have to choose. AXEN Realty backs your real estate business, and NEXA Mortgage backs your lending. Pick up whichever license you're missing, or start the conversation if you already hold both.

Understanding Wholesale Lending and UWM
A mortgage broker doesn't lend their own money. Instead, they work with wholesale lenders, comparing pricing and programs across multiple sources to find the fit that makes sense for each borrower.
United Wholesale Mortgage is one example of a wholesale lender in that marketplace. Independent brokers and teams use wholesale channels like this to keep loan options flexible instead of offering a single lender's products.

Talk With the Stoker TeamFrequently Asked Questions
Can I start with just one license?
Yes. Many agents join while they work toward their mortgage license, and many loan officers start while they pursue their real estate license. The roadmaps above cover both directions.
Where do I take the required classes?
Real estate coursework must come from a school on the Nevada Real Estate Division's approved list (Form 502), and mortgage education must come from an NMLS-approved course provider. Both lists are linked in the resources section.
How do I apply?
For a real estate license, file Nevada's Form 549 with the Real Estate Division. For a mortgage license, submit the Individual Form (MU4) online through NMLS — the instructions are linked in the resources section.
What if I already hold both licenses?
Then you're ready to start the conversation now. Skip the roadmaps, head to the onboarding section, and tell us where you're starting through the inquiry form.
